The Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign
The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement within the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers developing strong views on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.
With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their traits, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes Aries much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Stay on the good side of either and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to face the consequences.
Taurus – Super Heracross
Much like a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the creature and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed passion for treats. Several past official descriptions note their craving for tasty tree sap and how it uses its horn to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Look at this total queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its capacity to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which sounds very similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.
Cancer – Super Manectric
Cancer is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for often becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “huge amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which sounds a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also recognized for its ability to make a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.
The Lion – Super Starmie
Oh, did you think I was going to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the identical vibe a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected across this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.
The Scales – Mega Audino
Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about others.
Scorpio – Super Banette
Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Mega Banette.
Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.
Capricorn – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee disasters in advance? That exudes the identical energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure
Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire typing fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
