Salah Issues Apology to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
Jones has shared that Mohamed Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad following the controversy from his televised remarks.

He was omitted from a European match following making accusations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
The manager has refused to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “It's clear there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”

The team's performance have been impressive in the games following the interview fallout. The player is convinced the Salah's words were not designed to harm the team.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, performing and on a positive run.”
