President Trump announced on the weekend that he has invited the loved ones of a National Guard member killed last week to visit the White House.

He noted that he spoke to her parents and they were “deeply grieving”.

She behaved with inner fortitude, a bright grin and a optimistic attitude that inspired people around her,” Jarrod Hankins, the principal of Beckstrom’s previous school, stated to the media. “She was kind, caring and always ready to assist people.”

Authorities have indicted a twenty-nine-year-old suspect with one count of homicide and two counts of assault with intent to kill while carrying a weapon.

Wolfe, a resident of Martinsburg, began his service in 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman High, per the AP.

Beckstrom, from Summersville, completed her education from Webster County High in June 2023 and joined the military shortly after, working as a MP with excellence, as stated by the military.

“She had a lot of goodness and she definitely had bravery,” the governor informed the crowd at the service. “Though her time was cut short, she has left a mark that’s going to last forever.”
