Devoted supporters of the pop star are demanding that a individual who breached a barricade and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage reveals the Australian man shoving aside camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade flanked by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was scheduled to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram profile includes videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last winter.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over Grande's Past Trauma

Several fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another message on Instagram.

Several attendees also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared surprised when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore mall, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a two-film version of the popular theatrical musical Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two contrasting witches.

The show itself is a derivative of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, winning several for excellent wardrobe and production design.
